This program is designed for rising seniors only (class of 2020) to help scholars understand and take control of the college process so that they are prepared by the time senior year begins!
Topics include:
• The five possible parts of a college application
• How to create a balanced college list and why it is so important to do so
• Understanding the various college application platforms such as Common App and Coalition App
• What does Early Decision, Early Action, Rolling, and Regular Decision mean? Which one is best for the student?
• How to write a personal and compelling college essay
**Please note this class is for students only and specific to incoming seniors. No parents, please. We will have other workshops available for other grade levels and parents in the upcoming year.**
Students should bring a lunch or purchase one in the Redmond Town Center.
